There isn’t enough room here to print all of the great things I have to say about AK. I lived there on/off from ‘86 – ‘92. My father & relatives lived there in the 1950’s, my grandfather was stationed in the airforce. We shuffled between Maui,Anchorage & ID. My husband worked at Prudhoe Bay. An odd lifestyle to try and explain to others down in the lower 48. We moved back to ID and he comuted. Time to settle down and raise the kids (but we’re still kids…). I treasure my time spent there, playing movies over and over again in my head. I have much respect for the land and people. If you have not gone – GO. And you too can play the movies over in your head…..
