Ibiza, Illes Balears

Ibiza by chis

If you love beaches, then go, if you love getting pissed up every night, then go.

I was 11 when I went, it was all fun to me, but if I was to go now, i’d say it’s not worth visiting, it’s just another holiday resort full of places to rip you off (unless you haggle of course) It’s also pretty much full of other brits, it’s just a hotter version of Britain.

Portugal, Europe

Portugal by chis

I’ve been here 3 times, that’s mainly because I was dragged along with the parents. I’d say it’s nothing special, but I suppose I didn’t get to do what I wanted to do.

I would imagine the portugees country side is fantastic, but I was stuck by holiday resorts and hotels and beaches, and it’s just the same as spain/ibiza etc… None of the roads are finished either, because they spend so damn long putting an individual stone for each bit! But that was a humorous outlook, not one to judge the place on.

I’ve put “Not worth visiting” mainly because you could find a place like it somewhere else in Europe if you had to. I think.

Canada, North America

Canada by chis

Well, i’ll start off by saying, I went by myself, for something new to do, but I had arranged to stay with a friend of my Dad’s who has been living there for 18 years.

That was the worst idea ever, it wasn’t him, I was treated nicely and everything, but it became like being back at home, I would just log onto the internet at night and sit there, it wasn’t like a holiday, mainly because I was just with another family.

I’d like to goto Canada again and this time stay in a hotel and get out and about, the place is absolutely huge, and the roads are long and boring, not like scotland where you have a challenge when driving the twisty death of roads!

Niagara Falls, Ontario

To be honest by chis

I didn’t find it all that great. Maybe it was the crappy weather on that day, but I wasn’t entirly impressed, and the town was tacky, kind of like Blackpool :P

Inverness, Highland

Inverness. by chis

This place is alright, it’s not as bad as people often make it out to be. I mean, if you just want to be free from the city you just have to travel like, 2-3 and you’re in the country with fantastic views, I love that, in either direction too!
