Just get south and away from the ferry quickly

Sunshine has some of the best snow and Lake Louise has great secret runs during extreme weather. Mt Norquay has a run that was a right of passage for me and many of my freinds.

More Americans then most German towns but, the scenery was nice.

Crowded in the summer but amazing in off season. In the summer the hike down to the valley overlook from Tuolome meadows is almost better then the view up from the valley foor.

The town is impressive, on the crest of a hill and just so old. The roman ruins were not great but getting lost along the winding streets. The road there was a little more open with wider curves and expansive views. We were blasting along in a BMW looking far out across the countryside with other hilltop Tuscan towns.

Prague Spring had just started and I visited my gramother for a 4 week visit that expanded to 4 months. It was magic and really connected me to my heritage. I am an American with a Bohemian heart. We are going back for another visit this August (2005).
