The Mounds

The Indian Mounds are a great place to visit; they are beautiful in late fall, and have a very interesting history in regards to Georgia.

I went with a history class I had a few semesters ago. The professor knew a lot about the mounds, so that was good. Getting on top of the mounds is one of the most impressive things about it: these were made by hand!

Chicago, Cook County

Untitled

I just got back from being in Chicago for a conference over a week-long period. It was a fantastic conference, but it kept us pretty busy. The only time I got to get out and around the city was on a Wednesday evening for dinner at Pizano’s and on Sunday night. The Sunday we spent around Millenium Park and the city areas around there. I took lots of photos. We had dinner at Miller’s Pub, a quaint little pub with good beer and great food. On the way back, we got off at the Damen stop for some drinks. Overall, I was definitely impressed by the beauty of the city.

San Francisco, San Francisco Peninsula

Untitled

I went here for work and only got a few hours to explore, but this city is a beautiful one with lots of very cool places and a great environment for work.
