cool sand desert island, almost in the middle of nowhere!

I was with my sister in Budapest the summer of ‘05 during part of the Sziget week, so we decided to go there for a day. Coincidentally, Sean Paul was there that day, and since we found him quite comical we were overjoyed. It actually turned out to be a great concert, and everyone in the audience was going crazy with the music, the heat and the beer :)

My four months in Aix was the first long period of time I lived away from home. I learnt a lot, especially about patience since I shared a 20 sq meter room with my friend… :) This is a cozy, kind of slow city with an old feel to it, most people I’ve heard of find it very beautiful.

The first time I went to the Shetland Islands we arrived in Lerwick with Atlantica, an old sailing ship which during summertime takes 20 or so teenagers learning how to sail for a two week education. The whole experience was one of the best things I’ve ever done, and the Shetland Islands were probably the calmest beautiful place I’ve ever visited.

My family used to live in Norwood, Adelaide. When we went back to visit in 2001, 8 years had passed since we moved back to Sweden but it still felt like home! A bit more 2000-ish but otherwise the same. I love this city!
