A wonderful place to visit. I try to do the drive at least once I year and it never fails to amaze me. Here are some pics from one of our trips from SF to LA on PCH.

Maui is a great place to visit. While it definitely has its share of built up typical beach spots, the island has so much more to offer. Get out in your car, go to Hana, go to Makena, go to Iao Valley.

The nightlife is quiet, but after a long day in the sun and ocean, thats ok.

I had passed on visiting Alcatraz the first few times in SF because I thought it might not be worth it, but that was a mistake. Not only is it a very interesting place to visit, but you also get some great views of the city.

We honeymooned in Koh Samui and stayed on Bophut Beach on the quieter north side of the island. We were looking for a relaxing place to unwind after a crazy week long wedding in Karachi, and this was just what we needed. You can see our pictures here:

Karachi is a great place that I miss a lot. My wife is there right now visiting her family and I wish I was with them.

You should really know people if you are going to visit here because the people really make the city, and you can get through all the tour guide sights in two or three days. If you go be prepared for a crazy city bursting at the seams.
