I have been to Milwaukee a few times in the past year and it is not the old industrial city I stereotyped it as…There is a great art mueseum on Lake Michigan. The whole waterfront area is super cool and nice. Downtown (THird Ward, I think) is fun, lots of bars/clubs/restaurants. Milwaukee is experiencing a renaissance of sort..Oh yeah, and Miller Stadium where the Brewers play rocks.

cool place…My friend Courtney and I decided to explore and found the town dump…good times.

My Hometown! Tons on snow in the winter maybe 300 inches or so…3 decent skihills with in 5-10 miles of each other. Tons of snowmobiling trails as well as opportunities to do any other outdoorsy type stuff ie. cross country skiing, snowshoeing.

About 15 milies from Lake Superior so you can take advantage of that in the summer. Trails for hiking and biking as well. (unpaved of course)

No nightlife to speak of – you do have the typical local watering holes. If you love the outdoors you will have a great time, I hope.
