We lived here for 4 years, my husband is a U.S. Marine. We lived in town and in base housing. Definitely not the coolest of places, BUT it has been the nicest the Marines has sent us to so far. I wouldn’t choose to live there….

LOVED IT! Even my 4 yr-old daughter is hooked! She keeps saying “I want to go to the city!” She loved it too! Soo crowded when we went near Christmas time. We took the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) 1 time, and another we drove. Can’t wait to re-visit when it gets warmer!
over 5 years agoTook a cruise and this was one of the stops, layed on the beach all day and drank….it was BLISSFUL….please take me back!!!!
