Cameron Highlands, Pahang

Our place when the love reunited

Mid of May 2007, I went with my best guy friend all the way to Cameron Highlands from the city. We decided to go right after we had dinner. It was such a spurr of the moment thing, we got bored and we needed some fresh air. We arrived nearly at dawn and ate roti bakar and teh tarik to warm us up. Next we drove up to Equatorial Hotel. The mountain breeze constantly stroke my face as I wound down my window. I could smell the dew and the road looked like a passage to the fairytale woods, the branches sway above us in silent. The moment we parked the car, the first light of morning sun shone through, we were at the top of the hill, the hotel yard, looked down below us the breath-taking view in the mist of chilling air. Out of the blue, my best guy friend proposed and we’ve been married for more than a year now. We can’t forget that moment. Our getaway becomes our most romantic memento.

Genting Highlands, Pahang

finally...

From KL sentral, it takes only 1 and half hour to get to genting skyway and around half an hour skyline ride to reach genting highland. I love the weather there. Clean and cold. Something rarely happen in tropical country. For people who like casino gambling and play in theme park, this is the best place to be.

Kota Bharu, Kelantan

Islamic city

I only spent about 4 nights and I wished I can go north as near as Thailand border, where all the natural attractions lie there. I read newspaper yesterday and it was noted about kuala krai (if I’m not mistaken) and its bustling market selling Ramadhan delights. You can see alot of the original old style shop houses here. The high tech development hasn’t entirely grown in east coast, so if you are truly kind of metropolitan people this city is may not be your place of interest.
