...and I’ll be in Spain

I’m turning 17 in Espana—surrounded by my best friends!

I’m a volunteer teen docent at the museum—the program is great and the museum is too, if you know where to look! If you have any little kids, bring them for all of the fun and interactive activities on Saturdays. The travelling exhibits are the best, though I am partial to the hall of rocks and minerals.

Our biggest problem now is that a lot of the museum is under construction-so far we’re renovating Polar World, the hall of rocks and minerals, and our biggest draw-the dinosaurs. If you’re itching to visit, wait until they bring the dinos back in 2008. I hear the new exhibit is worth the wait!

That song is true…you know, “I Lost My Heart in San Francisco”? I went there about a year ago and it was honestly the most amazing thing I’ve ever done. Maybe it was because of the people I went with or the time of year that we went, but it was just what I needed.
