We were not dissapointed, the caves are unbelievable. The guided tours were educational, the rooms at the hotel were a bit rustic, but then consider where you are visiting. The food at the restaurant was good and we our server was friendly and courteous. We walked on the trails and had a view of the Green River from up high on the trail, very serene, beautiful and green!!!

We stayed at the Iberostar resort by Playa Del Carmen and I can’t say enough about the food, the service and the rooms, and their beautiful grounds and the exotic animals that were on the resort itself. Fabulousa trip. It was so wonderful that just writing about it make me want to go back right now!!! You can see how blue the water is in the picture I submitted.

try Poopah, it is so good, red beans and rice served in a tall loaf of Italian bread with andouille sausage on the side. The locals go here so you know it is good and the prices are the most reasonable.

the food is out of this world.

I worked in Metropolis and lived in a small community nearby. This part of Southern Illinois is beautiful, it is God’s country, you have to see it to believe it. It is located near the Shawnee National Forest. People are down home, friendly and it is slow paced.

were both born in a town called Leeuwarden so I would love to go and visit. Perhaps I still have relatives there?
