Pamukkale, Turkey

Untitled

This place is just stunning. I think it’s worth the trip and I would try to go without a tour if possible. (as they are too structured and the time is so limited!) You’ll need more than 3 hours to take a dip in the hot springs and walk along the Travertines. It’s completely surreal.

Ephesus, Izmir

Untitled

One of the best preserved ancient cities I’ve visited. Try to go early to avoid the crowds and the heat. The worst time to visit is when the cruise ships pull into port at Kusadasi. It was packed when we visited!

Morimoto, Market East

Omakase

During my first trip to Philly, I saved up my travel money just for the Omakase dinner. (There’s also a lunch version of the Omakase which has fewer courses, but it’s definitely more affordable at half the price!)

But let me tell you, it’s worth the experience. The atmosphere, the plates, the food.. and seeing Chef Morimoto in person. I loved the black cod miso dish and the chinese style chilean sea bass. I found the rock shrimp tempura to be a bit heavy, but delicious nonetheless. It’s a good plate to share with people, but a bit much to eat by yourself!
