Bastille Day, Paris

one of the most amazing days in my life

i spent bastille day last year in paris…i highly recommend it to everyone.

in the morning theres the parade down the champs (we watched the airshow from the tuileries) … then all of the museums are open (and oddly have very short lines), so we hit up a few museums, then spent the afternoon at a cafe …

then at sundown fireworks are shot off around AND from the eiffel tower…this is an amazing show…and completely and totally worth it

Cafe Des Deux Moulins, Montmartre

great food...

i wandered into this cafe one morning on my way to the montmartre cemetery… its very close to the moulin rouge gift shop (which oddly is around the corner from the moulin rouge, and has completely different hours).

this cafe is more of a diner…its awesome. i had the chevre salad (which i highly recommend).
