Girdwood, Alaska
Untitled
I went with my friends that were living in anchorage. they wanted to move to girdwood, so we stopped in on a trip to homer. we ate at chair 5-great food that fills you up-and had coffee (unfortunately the coffee house we went to is now closed). i loved walking around town. we drove up to the start of the crow pass trail that day as well. my second trip there was great as well. we ate at the double musky-excellent! since they were living in gwood then, we got 1/2 price appetizers. that was good, along with the wonderful steak. also, breakfast at the bakeshop is a must. if you go in the winter, definately take time to ski/snowboard/snowshoe.
