the first place i lived when i was born,
so it always has a special meaning
to me

I really didn’t expect to be so moved when I went here, I mean I knew I would be I suppose, but I didn’t really understand how intense a visit here would be. It was so intimate and dark and fragile and forceful, like walking through anothers nightmare, hearing someones most private thoughts.

We’re going here next May for our official wedding (as opposed to the shotgun wedding). It should be a wonderful trip, I know I want to go to Pisa as well, and Florence of course, not sure what else.

i used to take the train into manhattan to see all kinds of art and indie films that never made it out my way, it was one of my favorite things to do during those years since I am a film junkie and I love manhattan, and I felt less isolated in the world (a frequent state of being at that age, I hear). The best film I ever saw here was….either delicatessen or night on earth…

I really don’t know why certain placess become so attractive but I’ve really wanted to go here for the past two years. It seems like there’s a lot of natural beauty and it might be fun to photograph some wild life, but this doesn’t really explain my attraction. It’s a mysterious feeling…

I really want to learn the tahitian language. It seems like a really interesting one and it would be a nice place to do research :)

the first time i went to paris, i arrived in the early evening and couldn’t sleep all night. I went walking just before dawn and ended up here, exhausted and hungry, near hallucinating, and wandered around for a couple of hours, it was great, though cortazar lives in montparnasse….

This is one of the many things I miss about living in New York…
(sigh)
