University At Buffalo - North Campus, Amherst

Good college, good people

I’m a junior Accounting and Dance major and I recommend UB to anyone interested in a great college education with an affordable tuition. One of the best things UB has is its huge network of alumni who are more than willing to help out up and coming students.

If you’re just visiting, I recommend South Campus (located closer to the city of Buffalo) for more scenic and historical buildings, although North Campus has Lake LaSalle and Baird Point.

Beautiful Countryside

I agree with the others – do get lost and wind up at a bed & breakfast or some other local site. The best part is driving through the windy roads, hiking or camping.

Las Vegas, Nevada

Make sure you’re 21 when you go or else they chase you out of the casinos. I went with my dance studio for a competition and I thought I could at least stay with the adults (I was 18 at the time), but the security is tough!

Also, the strip is not really a “family” vacation spot, but there are plenty of fun things to do outside of it. And just walking in some of the hotels is amazingly beautiful.
