Stopped by on a road trip
Murals on the exterior are different every year. (You can see the different years in post cards.) We were driving by in autumn ’05 on a road trip from Seattle to Chicago and stopped by in the early afternoon, sunny day. Good time for taking pictures but the streets outside make it very difficult to get a shot of the full facade without a wide angle lens. Parts of the design were still under construction with a few missing pieces of cobs. Inside is surprisingly a large sports arena.
