I stopped by unannounced after lunch at the Elysian. The office was messy, kinda stinky and Josh was the only one there. The highlight was seeing the ‘server closet’. Thanks.

Isla Ixtapa is a great place to spend the day. You can snorkle, hang on the beach and have the best fresh seafood right on the beach. The city of Ixtapa is worth driving through on the way to the ferries or back to Zihua but not worth staying. Unless of course your idea of a Mexican vacation is staying in an American hotel eating cheeseburgers in the air conditioning and never having to speak a word of Spanish. In that case I guess Ixtapa is your place.

Thanks Chris and Erica, we had a great time. We drove over through Mt. Rainier National Park on the east side of the mountain. It was beautiful. The cabin on the river was nice too and we generally had a G.O.T. (good ole time).

we also had the drunken chicken and spicey eggplant, but the squids were the highlight for me.

The pork was dry, the beans hard, the salsa watery and the service was non-existant. Maybe we caught them on an off night but we definitely will not be going back soon.

but what a terrible name.

the highlight of our trip to Ireland was the two days we spent at a B&B in Ahakista on the Sheepshead Peninsula in west Cork. It is beautiful there. Great trails to hike, castle ruins, druid circles, beautiful countryside, pubs and great people.

I went to Houston on business a few years ago and had some really good meals at a bbq joint and an upscale steakhouse. We also went to a byob stripper bar. We brought in a case of beer for 5 guys but I saw some locals bringing in whole coolers full of booze and a wagon full of mixers. I have never seen anything like it. That was some funny stuff
