Prettiest town in the Mohave desert-but it is definitely in the heat of the desert.

Very small town in the Mohave desert. Not much else to say. Beautiful flowering cactus in spring.

I was only here for 1 day, several years ago, but it was such a beautiful city, that I can’t wait to visit it again. If I ever win the lottery-I’m buying a house here!

My friends even like to live here, as I did as a child. Nice town, not much crime, good schools, clean air, pure water, beautiful Mohave desert. Right next to Joshua Tree National Monument, which is beautiful.

Nice place to visit, but I don’t recommend living here. (Even though I do). Lots of things to see and do, but the cost of living is horrible, the summer heat is terrible, the smog is atrocious, crime is rampant (lock your car even as you drive!).

Crestline is a town in the San Bernardino Mountains, 15 miles north of San Bernardino. Elevation 5,000 feet. Beautiful forest. If you live in California, or are visiting southern California, you should visit Crestline, (and Lake Arrowhead, which is nearby).

Rosarito in Baja California is close to cities in Southern California, and a wonderful place to rent a house by the beach. Restaurants and motels are resonable in price. Good get away for the weekend or for a week. Lots of houses by the beach to rent-beautiful ocean views. Climate is great year round. Sea food is reasonable in price and good in taste. A market place in center of town has clothing, artifacts, knives, jewelry, etc., etc. etc.-very cheap.
