Reading has numerous cultural outlets, including a public museum, two arts institutions, a symphony orchestra, a major entertainment arena, and minor league hockey and baseball. Nearby Wyomissing is home to the Vanity Fair outlets, and down the street, the revitalized main drag of West Reading offers boutiques, cafes, and the general atmosphere of an historic downtown. Philadelphia is a little over an hour away. Outside of the Reading area, Berks County retains its rich rural tradition; it’s a short drive to solitude.

Wyomissing is a small borough west of Reading filled with history and charm. The tree-lined boulevards and the varied architecture of the houses lend Wyomissing beauty and grace. The pace of life is unhurried but progressive; it’s a fantastic place to raise a family.
