The countryside, away from Port of Spain, is VERY beautiful! The country is so diverse, with hills, valleys, and remote roads where you could easily get lost. I wish someone would map the place in detail!
over 6 years agoMy lovely wife is from Trinidad, and her Mother and Father are both from Carriacou, Grenada. I visited Bermuda in 2002, freaked out and fell in love, went back twice more within a year. My wife said “If you like Bermuda, you’ll really love Carriacou!” so I went with her late in 2003. As she predicted, I fell in love with the place, and now we’re building a house there! Go… you’ll love it. Get to Grenada, then take SVG Air or the Osprey ferry to Carriacou.
