Praha, Bohemia

"Study" trips

I have been to Prague twice, once in 1998, where it had the feeling of beeing the “old” czech republic (if I would know what that was like). We had to visit a business school, and everything was strict and orderly (which we are not used to in the savage North :P). As stupid danes we went around and drank a lot naturally. The second time (2001), I got the feeling of being in a german city, where everything was tidy (city reneval? :). Eventhough it still was a drunk trip, which is usual the case for danish students. I guess it is because of the cheap drinks.

Norway, Europe

Hiking and Skiing

I have been in Norway twice in the ninetees. Once for hiking with the Youth Scout troopers, and another time skiing with my Public School Class. Beautiful nature, clean water, friendly people.

Copenhagen, Hovedstaden

Conference meeting

Was attending the annual Linux Forum for the first time at the Architect School, which is placed just by the new Opera House. We went for a burger at Burger King (at least it wasn’t Mc Donalds :P) before leaving on the train back home. When waiting in line, a weirdo stared at us from the window, which cracked us up laughing :P (no, it wasn’t the hungry guy from above the street, just a weirdo kid (which I though was a woman). Copenhagen still has the feeling of being a smaller city, who wants to be a metropole (which is clear from people like me from the opposite site of the country ).
