Gastown

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Pretty Interesting...

Yes, it is blatant tourist trap. However, it’s still pretty interesting, and if you’re in the area, check it out.
It basically consists of little shops full of merchandise and few activities here and there. I got my picture taken by the steam clock, which I thought was pretty cool.

Around the tourist area is an enormous bum hang-out as well as some pretty dirty streets. That’s also worth checking out ;)

Vancouver

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Canada's Seattle...

Earlier this summer, I took a trip to Vancouver with some of my relatives.

One Word: AWESOME.

In many ways, Vancouver is a lot like Seattle, in terms of the atmosphere.
There’s a lot to do and see in Vancouver, such as Science World (your kids or younger siblings will love this place), Stanley Park, the aquarium, and many other family oriented things.

What really took me by surprise was the interesting architectural style some of the buildings had. Many of the buildings looked identical, which gave the city an almost fake/plastic feel (it also gave the illusion that it was somewhat futuristic). The surrounding environment was also pretty beautiful.

All in all, I think Vancouver is a really clean, safe city, and definitely worth visiting. I don’t think it has as much culture as other cities do, and it’s obviously a tourist-city, but it is definitely a gem.

Check it ewt!

Idaho

Not worth visiting!

A review of this place: Okay if you're an outdoors freak.

C’mon, Idaho’s a state you drive through. You don’t plan around it unless you live really close, or you have relatives or friends there.

Personally, I think it’s pretty boring, and there isn’t a lot to do there.

I wouldn’t want to visit it again.

Alaska

Worth visiting!

Definitely worth checking out...

Can’t say I’d live there, though.

Alaska has a lot of natural beauty. I’ve been there once, it was pretty amazing.

Not a lot of huge cities, and the population isn’t exactly high, but if you aren’t afraid of the cold, and love outdoors stuff, Alaska is the place for you.

Spokane

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: A nice place to visit friends...

If you have friends or relatives in Spokane, then you definitely have an excuse to go check it out.

The city isn’t as exciting as others, but the people are decent enough, but there are activities to check out.

Some of the city is relatively nice, although a lot of it is pretty dirty.

If you’re around the area, check it out. You just may like it!

Portland

Not worth visiting!

A review of this place: Pretty boring...

Well, Portland would probably be a nice place to live, but I don’t think you should plan around it.

In my opinion, it’s just another city. Nothing really to offer. Sure, there’s book stores and restaurants, but doesn’t every other city have that?

Portland is somewhat like Seattle, only Seattle is interesting.

Sacramento

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: A nice place to check out if you're in the area...

Okay, so Sacramento isn’t exactly a big tourist attraction, but it’s a nice medium-small city.

Like I said before, if you’re in the area, stop by Sacramento and check out what there is to see.

It’s a pretty diverse city, but there isn’t a lot to do. I suggest just walking around downtown, because that’s probably the most interesting area of Sacramento.

Seattle

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Seattle is awesome.

I don’t exactly live IN Seattle – I live a little north of it. Still, I go to Seattle at least once a week, so I guess I could say I live there.

Seattle is awesome. For the most part, it’s a really safe city to live in. It’s on the clean side, but there are a lot of bums that are concentrated in the downtown area.
Seattle itself (the buildings, the hills) and the surrounding environment (mountains etc) are absolutely beautiful.
Lake Washington is awesome to check out.

Seattle is also a city with a definite personality. There’s a lot to see in Seattle, and a couple pretty cool tourist attractions.

Check out the Space Needle, and the all too popular Pike Place Market.

Definitely check out Seattle!
