Gastown, Downtown

Pretty Interesting...

Yes, it is blatant tourist trap. However, it’s still pretty interesting, and if you’re in the area, check it out.

It basically consists of little shops full of merchandise and few activities here and there. I got my picture taken by the steam clock, which I thought was pretty cool.

Around the tourist area is an enormous bum hang-out as well as some pretty dirty streets. That’s also worth checking out ;)

Vancouver, British Columbia

Canada's Seattle...

Earlier this summer, I took a trip to Vancouver with some of my relatives.

One Word: AWESOME.

In many ways, Vancouver is a lot like Seattle, in terms of the atmosphere.

There’s a lot to do and see in Vancouver, such as Science World (your kids or younger siblings will love this place), Stanley Park, the aquarium, and many other family oriented things.

What really took me by surprise was the interesting architectural style some of the buildings had. Many of the buildings looked identical, which gave the city an almost fake/plastic feel (it also gave the illusion that it was somewhat futuristic). The surrounding environment was also pretty beautiful.

All in all, I think Vancouver is a really clean, safe city, and definitely worth visiting. I don’t think it has as much culture as other cities do, and it’s obviously a tourist-city, but it is definitely a gem.

Check it ewt!

Idaho, United States

Okay if you're an outdoors freak.

C’mon, Idaho’s a state you drive through. You don’t plan around it unless you live really close, or you have relatives or friends there.

Personally, I think it’s pretty boring, and there isn’t a lot to do there.

I wouldn’t want to visit it again.
