Missionary

A friend of us has just been placed here as a missionary… bless his courageous heart.

Would be keen to pay him a visit and perhaps combine this with visiting friends in souther India and Pakistan… also all in full-time ministry for the Lord Almighty

Magneficent

Went there last weekend with my wife for our third honeymoon in four months and thoroughly enjoyed it though we were very lucky with the weather… We were told that it is rainy 255 days of the year..! One word of warning by one of the 300 locals was that you should not use traditional magnetic compasses because these get distorted! We forgot to ask why but it might have something to do with the place called magnetic beach… though we’ve never heard of such phenomenons before… read this url for more info on magnetite beaches: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=1006012305957

Train from Vancouver

Apparently I can take an inland train tour from Vancouver…

“The most scenic – until now – was taking the famous Rocky Mountaineer and the lesser-known Skeena through the Canadian Rockies from Vancouver to Prince Rupert.”
