Homer, Alaska

This is my home

I was born here. Homer is also known as the Shan-gri-la of Alaska.

There is quite a bit to do here really. You wouldn’t think that about a town of 3,500 people at the end of the U.S. highway.

Great food abounds, all sorts of adventures both in Homer and across the bay in Kachemak Sate Park, fantastic local live theatre, friendly people, fun festivals, art exhibits and of course all the regular fishing and outdoors activities as well.

When you go, try the summertime first. Then go back during the winter for a totally new experience.

Alaska is an amazing place and Homer is the epitomy of this.

Ask me anything about this great place “where the land ends and the sea begins.”

Alaska, United States

A Young Man in a Northern Land

This is my land, my people, my home.

I have lived all over the state and enjoy showing friends that dare to take a chance and visit. When they do, they are always amazed and leave with a feeling of awe. Ironically this is the same feeling I have living here day-to-day.

I have traveled all over the world searching for the similar unique, inspiring beauty of people and terrain that Alaska offers and come to find out it has been right here in my back yard all this time…

Tokyo, Kantō

Tokyo: Fun and Freaky

You would think that people in Japan might be a lot like the tourists you see here and abroad, but in fact for a such homogenous society, there really are all types of people and the friendliness is not to be surpassed.

I can’t wait to go back!
