Of course, at this moment going to Israel is not a particularly wise thing to want to do…. but I am hoping and praying that eventually it will be safe and that there will still be an Israel to visit.

Had the privilege to attend a “sales meeting” in Kotakinabalu some years ago. I really liked it! I would LOVE to go back.

I cannot believe there is anyone who is saying Malaysia is not worth visiting. What are your criteria???

Truly, if you go to KL, you MUST go to the Tower (Menara). The views are fabulous, and the building itself is a delight. The tiered walk up to the entrance, with fountains, flora, etc. It is great!

I lived in KL for several months back in 1998. I love this city. I would go back in a heartbeat.

It has been a while since I have been there…. um, let’s see… it was 1977. Yep. I’d better plan on going there again some time soon!

There is, I’ve heard, some controversy as to whether Cape Spear actually IS the Easternmost point of North America.

Controversy aside, it is stunning to stand near the lighthouse, looking eastward as the sun rises, realizing Europe is beyond that horizon.

I had the wondrous privilege to spend several weeks in Newfoundland back in 1999. I was in St. John’s on business – got to enjoy Signal Hill and Cape Spear, among other things. Plus, I was able to drive round to Cornerbrook, stopping in Gander. “Celebrated” Canadian Thanksgiving at a sweet Bed & Breakfast in Cornerbrook. Stopped by Gros Morne briefly, gathered a few stones from the shore of the Labrador Straits.

Really a delightful place; would love to go back.

Been there three times, never spent the night. So, I haven’t spent all that much time there. Got to see Madison Square Garden, Central Park, Trump Tower, Columbus Circle, Times Square, Penn Station, Hard Rock Cafe, FAO Schwartz… I loved it; wanna go back and spend some REAL time there.
