The last time I wen there, I was a little bit younger, but the memorial to the civil war was amazing. they had a thing where you could buy a tape and it took you on a driving tour oth the entire park. it was really awesome. Plus they have an ironclad, which was really interesting to see (and very cool.). definately worth a visit.
over 5 years agoI don’t know how the aquarium weathered Katrina (no pun intended) but I do know that it was so worth a visit beforehand. It was amsolutely amazing!!!. In the lobby, they had these ceramic sculptures hanging from the ceiling of sharks, from like, a nurse shark to a whale share (which is HUGE!). It was very much worth the two hours I spent with my mom there.
