Rancho Bravo is in the parking lot by Winchell’s Donuts on 45th. Tacos are $1.50, and they have a good range of meats – the carnitas stood out among the ones i tried (lengua, carnitas, chicken). Burritos and tortas looked really good, too…

It’s OK. It’s got a weird corporate feeling; i think it’ll do well enough with the tourists, as a brunch spot, but i’m not going to go out of my way to eat there. Especially when prices rival much better options nearby like Cafe Campagne and Le Pichet.

Osteria La Spiga left their Broadway QFC location, and have just reopened a couple of blocks away, on 12th. I haven’t been in yet, but the new space looks fantastic…
