I love Hendrix and my freshman year I mostly stayed on campus. My Sophmore year I started dating a townie who taught me how to love Conway. Toad suck, Pia’s, Tunnel of love, the trains, beaver fork, Cadron,live music and the scenesters.
over 5 years agoI spent my summer of 2005 in Wilmington De working for MBNA (the credit card company), and also for Top of the Hill Apartments as a leasing agent. I lived in downtown Wilmington and it was mostly scary. I woke up to yelling every morning and many times I was afraid to leave the house, day or night. It was the first time I had lived in the nort east and it was really neat to be so close to so many states. I recommend WATERICE.
over 5 years agoSummer of 2006 I housesitted for my aunt in Hilo, Hawaii. Hilo is a quiet beach town that is very differant from the other islands and the other cities of Hawaii. Great farmer’s market, the Palace theater is a must, but also the Kress, the dollar theatre which is a great way to spend the afternoon to save yourself from a sunburn. Sometimes it can rain for a week solid but when everything is going right it rains all night and suns all day. THe beaches are rocky and not always sand, but the hidden places like the hot ponds, black sand beach, and lava make up for the slight inconvience. I recomend water shoes in the ocean. ANDSNORKLING.
