Green Vegetarian Cuisine & Coffee, San Antonio

"No meat will be ever cooked at green" by bohogypsy

…is stated on the to go menu and I am sooooo happy with that! green has everything from breakfast to salads to sandwiches. Try the chopped bbq w/ pickles and onion. It is soooo good! They also serve vegan desserts (the chocolate cake is decadent!!!). The chef, Mike, is a friendly vegetarian who knows what his Texan customers want (biscuits and vegan sausage gravy, chicken fried wheat-meat, buffalo tofu fingers)!!! And the atmosphere is very laid-back and very much like a coffee shop (free wifi, a patio where you can lounge to your hearts content…) green only opened its doors on the 22nd of Jan, so it definitely needs the support of all those looking for a deliciously healthy meal at a good price!

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

I want to move here just to experience it all! There is so much to Philly. I’ve only been there once, but I’m convinced! Schools, art, culture, food, character, and people! The people are so friendly and helpful. Everytime we asked a local for directions when we were downtown they did everything short of actually taking us (including running by the side of our truck when the light turned green on us). I loved everything about it! From downtown to the surrounding area. Nothing was sugarcoated. I consider it my second home!

We went with my husband’s aunt and uncle. It’s very charming and quaint!!! The waiters were very friendly. I had a soup and half sandwich. Order the tomato soup. It’s delicious! And carrot cake to top it off!! (this was before I went vegan!!)

San Antonio, Bexar County

This is it!!!! by bohogypsy

Now I know why everyone say it’s so hot. The only places hotter are Arizona and Nevada. lol. But, I love the weather. I love my hometown and I appreciate it even more since I started traveling cross-country. There’s no other place like it. Now I understand why people get so excited when we tell them we’re from S.A.! I’m going to have to revisit it anew when I get back home. We are sitting on a cultural gold mine, here!!!! Plus, the Mexican food is the best of the best!!!!!!
