This was perhaps the coolest single building I’ve ever been in. That man’s mind was off in another dimension, just radically radical, if that makes sense. But it’s great inside: very organic, self-sustaining. Fantastic piece of design/architecture.

Rather awkward process, really. But it did happen. I never had too too many problems in the eloquence department prior to this, but it never hurts.

Trust me on this one: if you were going to feel warmly enveloped by any society in the world, it’d be the Irish. Fantastic place, Dublin, in all respects.

Great place to visit, terrible place to live. Certainly charming and fun, but it wears after 2 months.

I think about going back to Australia, generally, and Sydney, specifically, at least once a day. Sydney is simply the most perfect city I’ve ever visited or lived in, and I plan on living there again someday…

Oh, how I miss Q’BA. Excellent food, beautiful interior, a staff of 30 or so who all called me “Mr. Brian,” drinks under the table before they got their liquor license… and, the night I left India, they made me a cake that said “Goodbye, Mr. Brian. We will miss you. Your friends at Q’BA.”

Brilliant place. If you’re remotely close, go there for lunch or dinner. Lunch is a lot more chill.

My memories of Amsterdam are, unfortunately, rather hazy. I’ll say this: if you were to go there and buy the (perfectly legal) “magic mushrooms,” then I recommend you follow the dosage instructions closely and don’t underestimate the effect even a small amount will have. That’s all I’m going to say. I hear it can be a bad experience, is all. And you might forget things. Like nearly getting arrested…

Anyway, I really want to go back and not just as a stupid American kid who was tempted by the idea of getting high for the first time in a place where it would be totally legal… I hear the art musuems are fantastic, as well…

I could live here, especially in the summertime. Absolutely gorgeous.

Bar none. Just go. Makes the whole trip worth it.
