It’s a lovely place to be raised. Not too big but just big enough.

over 5 years agoIt was great the first 3 years but now I’m out of things to do and I just want to get out. It’s ok to visit this place and I’m sure it’s a nice place to raise a family but if you want non-stop excitement, don’t expect it from here.
over 5 years agoIt was a magical trip. I loved the small towns, so much more interesting than the American ones :P
over 5 years agoIt was for an exchange program and I enjoyed every moment of it. Lots to do and see.
over 5 years agoFirst time I went was when I was 9 months old. My dad’s youngest brother was 10 years old and he asked to hold me as they pulled me out of the car. My young uncle held me for a second and started to walk but tripped over a large rock on the ground. He tried to hold on to me but apparently couldn’t because a second later I was falling onto the dirt road. This was the first time I touched the ground in Tarandacuao, Guanajuato and even though I don’t remember it, I am reminded of it every time I visit and my grandma goes into her storytelling hour.
over 5 years agoMy friend is going to be teaching English there so I have a good excuse to check out the sites and learn some new while visiting her.
over 5 years agoAlternative Spring Break in 2 weeks, woohoo! I’m going to be volunteering at an organization in San Juan, TX that helps out immigrants near the border.
