The place is absolutely gorgeous, just make sure you visit the city as well as the beaches. I’m half Thai, so when I was young, we had traveled there a couple of times. The countryside is so fascinating, one of my favorite things was going to see the Candlewax festival in Burriam (small small eastern town).

But aside from the beautiful beaches, Bangkok is amazing. You wouldn’t expect it, but all the stores and such are so culturally diverse, the malls are so fun!
