fun for a visit, probably amazing to wander around in… but also overwhelming and exhausting if you’re not used to such a huge loud place. ;)

this is where ann-with-an-e grew up! matthew and marilla’s farm, green gables, gilbert, diana, the whole she-bang. i feel as if it were a true story. :)

and i can just picture the queen ane’s lace and avenues and open green meadows as anne described them so poetically.

harrisonburg is a great place to live. i can see why so many college students end up staying. i love it!

the old ringling mansion in the gardens is where they filmed the newest “Great Expectations”... it served as miss havisham’s crumbling mansion. so perfect! the architecture is beautiful, and they have a lot of authentic rubens in the art museum if you’re into that. :)
