Sculptures of naked people! And a big pile of them right in the middle!

It’s a bookstore, it’s a restaurant! And it’s probably the best thing about the city. I could spend days in here, and luckily enough, I wouldn’t have to starve while doing it.

A hidden Ballard secret. They have the best burritos, but they are only open until 5 pm from Monday to Saturday.

The epicenter of Seattle coffee culture. This is the granddaddy of them all.

It’s a nice place, but the hordes of people on their computers takes away from the ambience.

This is the best coffee / chai / tea / whatever place in Ballard. Cool waitstaff, interesting people-watching possibilities, and the chai is amazing. Try the Ruby Tuesday, where they add pomegranate syrup and lemon juice to the chai…

The screaming kids can take away from the ambience, but the lavender chocolate cupcakes are un-frickin-believable.

Love playing Dig Dug. Got dumped here once.

When you’re done, the layer of grease on the roof of your mouth just reinforces the fact that they make great fish and chips.

It’s a small place and there’s no food, but it’s a great pub.
