Wales, Great Britain
And I'm going again...
I’ve been to Wales many times, and love the place and the people. There are too many good Wales stories, but I’ll tell about the sheep-dip bridge near Porthcawl (in Merthyr Mawr, I think). The bridge has sheep-sized gaps in the stone on either side. Shepherds used to (still do?) herd their sheep onto the bridge, then push them through the gaps and into the river. According to our Welsh host family, the sheep climb out of the river “offended, but not hurt.” And apparently cleaner.
