i used to live here for a little while and really enjoyed it—the friendly people, the safe neighborhood; i could walk everywhere. i loved the farmer’s market (thursdays) and the great areas around SLO. the central coast is a beautiful place.

i grew up here. my dad used to take my sister and me “riding” now and then around the island or to some island site and then quiz us on what we saw or what he told us about the place. we went to the volcano for a drive or to kona for shopping, south point now and then, kawaihai was my dad’s beach of choice…if you ever find yourself on the big island, you HAVE to see the lava flow.

was about a month ago…i went w/my friend and baby…we had a lot of fun sitting and talking on the beach eating kettle corn! if you go, abbott kinney is the hip place to be—shops and intimate restaurants, coffee shops, etc. street parking is hard to find—what else is new about LA?!
