It’s been many, many years since I’ve been to Detroit, but I have many fond (!) memories of the city. At places like St. Andrew’s Hall and Alvin’s, I saw so many of the bands I loved in person. Detroit gets a bad rap, some of which may be deserved, but there are still some redeeming features of this city.

Some of my wife’s family still live here. It’s a lovely, quaint little town on the top of a hill covered by olive trees.

We drove through Poggibonsi on the way to the Melini Vineyard. During the drive through it seemed nice. :)

Venice was lovely!

Space is the place!

My wife travelled to Australia many moons ago for a business trip and loved it. It would be nice if we could make the trip as a family, but until the kids get old enough to endure the super-long flight, we’ll have to put this off.
