I’ve lived in Helsinki for three beautiful months….Helsinki is most worth visiting in summer time as are the other more southern cities. Oulu and more up north are beautiful in the three other seasons, but i prefer ‘spring’ (which isn’t really spring as i know it: still snowy but not a freaking cold as in winter time.)
over 7 years agoLovely people, the colombians! it is a pity that as a foreigner it could be quite dangerous (even for colombians it’s not such a save country of course).
watch out for ‘military men’ with long hair: defenitly guerrilla…
i stayed near the border of Venezuela in estado Santander, one of the savest places they told me. Beautiful country, but so cold in the mountains!! Take a lot of sweaters and extra pairs of socks with you.
i’ve spend eleven months of my life in Venezuela, living in a host family in San Cristóbal, estado Tachira (in the Andes, near the Colombian border). Want to go again as soon as possible!!
Defenitly go and see the Andes, the beaches and la Gran Sabana.
