I didn’t have a frankfurter here… though I really wanted to.

I liked riding in the cable car. Except my peeps totally left me on that mountain. I was p.o.ed at those guys. However, I got me some ice cream and got over it.

I just went for the opera. You can have the rest, but that opera was NICE. All the ballet… ing. Definitely wasn’t thrilled with the Hard Rock Café or the Haufbraühaus… or however you spell it. Germans just don’t have good taste in food, apparently.

It was nice. Cold and cozy, with lovely scenery. I hate German food, though. Even the Pizza Hut was too greasy. Thank God for our hosts, who had the decency to get me hooked on kiwi.

The Pope got back to the Vatican the day before we got there. The line into that place was HELL… which is ironic. And there were quite a few artworks depicting pagan gods and goddesses… which was also ironic. And I still didn’t get to see the Pope. He was there, but he was probably resting in his room or something. I mean, he’d just gotten back from Poland, and being a former Nazi, that would be a bit of a drain. Oh, well.

Nice place, bad smell.

Lotsa stuff there, but I got so lost it wasn’t even funny. I eventually had to stop this street peddler girl to ask directions. First I bought a bracelet for her convict friends (quite literally). It turned out the place I was looking for was just down the street; left at the McDonald’s. I really hate McDonald’s.

Too… many… pigeons. One of my compatriots became literally covered in them. I walked around most of the day with one on my shoulder, too. Thankfully, they didn’t defecate on me. Otherwise… there’d be Hell to pay.

Saw an opera here. It wasn’t half bad. I was also mistaken by an Italian girl as a native. Boy, was her face red (it was okay, though, she was incredibly cute).

I liked the art best. Especially the Louvre. I need to go back so I can see the rest of it, actually.
