It is a Paper-mill working town ever trying to revitalize itself, its vision, and its downtown. Due to circumstances largely beyond anyone’s control but blamed on everyone nonetheless, there has been very limited and only momentary success. Yet, hope remains. For that, I am proud.
over 6 years agoI have been to Sherbrooke with my family. Out intent was to shop. I believe there was an Au Coton store or something of that nature in a strip mall of some kind.
I do know that I have been there on several occassions. All for shopping if my recollection isn’t failing.
My girlfriend is from Maine and has a relative that lives out in Bar Harbor that we visit occassionally. Acadia National Park is one of the reasons to visit but this Harbor and small town community feel really do draw you in.
Good vacation spot.
