must see/experience

This is a must see and must experience group of 5 little towns. The hike is amazing…but make sure you bring plenty of water and wear good shoes and are not afraid of heights. Be sure to check out the back alleys and ‘off the beaten path’ roads in each of the towns. By the way…I would not recommend the hostel in Riomaggiore…unless you are particularly fond of waking up to the smell of cat pee and are at peace with roaches.

Football and beer

I lived in Tallahassee for about 3 years, getting my degree at FSU. If you are young, love football and beer, or enjoy the smell of trees and flowers, then this might be the place for you. It is truly the “south” and not like most of the rest of Florida…I grew up in South Florida (Naples, Sarasota, Ft. Myers, Orlando) and would recommend all of those for other reasons.

However, it might be the best place on the planet for football and beer!

If you have the desire to go to a laid-back, beer and football-driven true southern capitol, then Tallahassee is your place. There is a lot of life for college-aged students…not recommended for families. It does have a lot of trees and good smells.
