I have lived in seattle my whole life. and yet, i have never been to the top of the space needle. ron said he wants to take me there when he gets back from fishing. that would be really fun. i really love dressing up nice and going out with him.
i was so jealous when my mom told me that they took lulu there, and she was all surprised when i said i had never been there. but i hope that one day i can make a memory worth while, worth the wait of going to the space needle.

So today i talked with my mom. i told her i really want to go, and its a once in a lifetime opportunity especially for the price. (which encase you’re wondering is 1350 that includes hotel & gratuities, breakfasts, metros passes, bus/train/boat tickets, Pairs museum pass, and services of tour guides throughout the trip; it does not include airfare, tuition, lunches/dinners, and airport transportation, or a pass to see the eifel tower.)
she kind of sounded like she was actually considering it! do you know how incredibly amazing it would be to go to paris! and with my design teacher as a tour guide i would see all the cool historical places that i’ve learned about in my history classes like Versailles, and the start of art nouveau, the arch de triomphe, the mona lisa, the eifel tower…so much…its a dream for a designer. i would make cookies every day and sell them at the store if i could go on this trip. i am going to start applying at some places to see if i can make some money and maybe make it more convincing to my parents that i really want to go. but we have to make a final decision before feb 25th. i hope oh hope upon all hopes that i can go. i kind of have this slight feeling that if i don’t take this opportunity now, i might never get it again.

Today in my class was the talk about the pairs trip! and this will be the last year that Carrie is doing it! i want to go soooo bad. i am going to ask my parents if they will give me the trip as a birthday present.
sorry this was a pointless and juvenile blog, but i wanted to express how badly i want to go to Paris.

The Drive across 1-90 in Washington state can get long and boring, especially in the middle areas. In the summer (i.e. when its not closed) this is one of my favorite places to stop (along with its counterpart the westbound views of the Columbia river). It is absolutely incredible to view out across the river and into the valley that the river has created. to take just a moment to take these views in is one of the pleasures of Washington state. If you have time i strongly recommend walking up to the top, the view of the horses, and the river are entirely different, but definitely wear good shoes, its a steep hill with lots of loose dirt, flip flops, heels, or shoes you really love are not recommended. plus, its free!

This is the most beautiful view of seattle there is. i wish i could go back every time i was on that side of the state!

I grew up here, how could it not have changed my life. if i were to have grown up anywhere else i would be totaly diffrent.
if anyone wants to know the best places in the ville, ask me!

okay, its rediculous that i want to go here. but my boyfriend works on a fishing boat that offloads here, and i think it would be amazing to surprise him sometime and just tell him to go somewhere when he calls me during an offload and i be there. not to mention that there is the worlds largest hover craft that goes to this island. how cool would that be to go on!

Okay i have been to san juan island, orcas island, jones island, even that little tiny island thats right next to lopez i kyaked to once and stayed the night on it. but on the ferry i always pass right over lopez. i want to stop there once and just take it in and enjoy.
