i had sooo much fun here! no offense, saskatoon, but fun was the last thing i expected. . . so kudos to you!

it’s not the best place in the world. . . in fact it’s really depressing! but for some reason i still love it.

i grew up here. i hated it when i was a teenager because i thought vancouver was so much more metropolitan and exciting. so why did i change my mind? kamloops does have its fair share of rednecks, and it’s still not as exciting as vancouver. . . but it’s also possible to drive anywhere in town in five to ten minutes (twenty or so if you need to go from one end of town to the other). the valley bottom is flat, so it’s easy to walk or bike around those parts of town. we have a thriving arts community. i love kamloops because it’s just the right size.
