i got left behind by my family on a shore excursion and met some really nice locals who showed me around the island. it was nice having a personal tour guide.

i was completely taken back by the amount of homeless children in this country. i wondered how parents could do this to their children. i came here with my church to do a childrens sports camp. the kids ate up the attention that adults gave them and when we fed them pb&j sandwiches you would have thought we were offering filet mignon. the kids were extremely smart though, most of them knew 4 languages by the time they were 7. too bad we cant say that about the states…maybe one day

i was really enjoyed getting to visit this country. it rained a lot while i was there so i didnt get to see the real beauty of this country. but it was great to see a new culture different from the US.

the people in this city are so warm and friendly. the views are breathtaking and the food is so delicious!!!! you have to go here at least once in your life
