Japan, how I heart thee

Ever since I was a wee child, I’ve been smitten by Japan. It all started with a love affair from a Mickey Mouse hand puppet that my uncle brought back and gifted to me after he went to Tokyo Disneyland. At 4 years, I vowed to see this magical place where this magical mouse puppet lived. Then came Astroboy, and Kimba the White Lion, then Sailor Moon, Weiss Kreuz, Evangelion and then the Anime craze exploded all over. I may not be totally keen on Anime now, although I’m strangely smitten with the culture and the amazing high tech gadgets that they seem to churn out daily, but still I want to try to get to live there someday, for some time.

I keep hearing of the spectacular beaches, and hopefully by the time that I have enough moolahs to get there, it’ll still be as pristine and as beautiful as what I expect it to be.
