Most of my family is from Nicaragua, but I’ve only been there twice in my life, a total of 6 months. I loved the time I spent there, but I am jealous that there are people who know more about my own heritage than I do.

I think my obsession with sea turtles may have to do with the giant ones I’ve seen there. My most favourite thing about being in Nicaragua was the friendliness of the people. People in the neighbourhood always invited me over for a meal, so needless to say, I gained quite a few pounds!

The last time I was on this ride was in 2005. It still looked the same from the first time I went on it, about ten years before. Kind of like It’s a Small World but with pirates. I like to go on it just to relax and take a small nap.
I’ve heard they’ve updated for the movies and I’d like to see what’s that like. Also, all the times I’ve been on the ride, I never really had to wait in any line. I wonder if I’ve just always been lucky…

My flight was connecting at this airport and since I was on standby, the airline told me that I wouldn’t get on another flight for nine hours! Luckily, this is the perfect airport to get stranded in. I had lunch at a Mexican restaurant and the service was great. I looked into the shops and went from one end of the airport to another on the bullet train.
I love how modern the airport is and they also have a Westin hotel inside. Thankfully, I didn’t have stay nine hours at the airport. I got on a flight within two hours, but I was left so impressed by this airport that I would probably go to Detroit just to stay there!

I went to Marco Island this summer and I had a great time. I went to both beaches and just relaxed. The people there are very friendly and were helpful. I’d definitely return in the future!

Locals take Disney World for granted and I guess since I’ve been here at least ten times, I should be disenchanted with the idea. However, I find myself feeling like a giddy kid everytime I walk into this park, especially at Magic Kingdom. I still go on the “kiddie” rides. I still think that the best ride is Space Mountain. Nothing like a roller coaster in the dark to give one a super adrenaline rush.

Sadly, I am still too chicken to go on the Tower of Terror.

I went to New York City a lot when I was younger and I love this place. I’ve been to all the states on the East Coast of the U.S. and this is the most exciting city. There is just so much going on, so much to see, and of course, to do. One day I plan to move there, because I just love it that much.
It might just be 5 small islands connected by bridges, but together they are a world wonder.

As a Floridian, I’m use to hot weather, so I thought I’d be okay in Texas. Wrong! It was so humid (very usual in Florida) BUT there was no cool breeze to counter it. I nearly passed out after an hour outside. I spent most of my time secured in places with lots of A/C and/or tint. However, it is VERY beautiful there. I loved going and can’t wait to go back (when the weather is a lot cooler).
