this one depends on what you want out of the city.. worth visiting or not. there’s alot of scary places, or nice places depending on which part. If you just want a good market with lots fresh stuff, you’ve come to the right place.

One of my favorite cities, with of course the free zoo, the amazing parks, and the wonderful skyline. Chicago is a beautiful and clean city that makes me proud to be an American. Go in the summertime though, because the winter breeze across the lakes can be quite cold.

You have to be a pretty hardcore tourist to visit this town, as it’s not very tourist friendly. There was no one we came in contact with while in our brief visit to this town. Besides that the people are really freindly, one hotel that we stopped at helped us out greatly in getting a map of the area and showing us exciting places to visit.

They use american dollars, and change and we got hotdogs from a street vendor for 17 cents. The difference between a good hot dog and a halfway deicent hot dog was 2 cents, and it made us consider all those pennies we had just left laying somewhere on the ground back in the states.

like fleabite said, avoid connakry (the capital). Unless you want some excitement, or some strange barganing adventures in the marketplaces.

The open road is really nice, and the small village towns are the best.

it was nice, but all the touristy places were at the beach and we didnt go there. Santa Anna was nice but really not for tourists.

my brother and i hitchhiked to this city, it was a bit scary, but really lots of fun. You over look the city going down into it, and it’s a view of a lifetime, and then lots of steep roads to either bus back up or hike (like we did)

well i only used to live here. gosh, those were the days…
