The lake is the big attraction here. Fishing, either on the ice or on the water. There’s also a big ice fishing tourny every year.
It’s also the largest place to go shopping on hwy 2 between grand forks and minot.
There are some good places in Devils Lake to go view christmas lights too.
over 5 years agoRugby, ND, just down the road from where I lived. We always drove through. We stopped once to actually look at the monument, but the only real reason to go is just to say you’ve been there.
over 5 years agoI lived in North Dakota for six years. It’s a quiet place, slower paced then much of the rest of the US. Not much to do durring the winter.
But, it gave me a new perspective on what happens in other places in the world. It’s nice to get around, see the way other people live.
